Good news! There’s definite improvement in the numbness/tingling in my feet. I’m guessing that my right foot is about 90% back to normal, with the left foot only about 75%. I continue to work on my sleep and keeping watch of my energy levels. If I get too tired, I rest.

I saw the physical therapist last week and got my first assignment to work on a balance activity, as my balance is far from normal. I have two physical therapy appointments and one with the neurologist this coming week. It’s a busy week, and I’m wondering if I can return to driving myself to the appointments. This has been a self-imposed limitation, so it’s entirely up to me and whether I feel safe behind the wheel.

Praises and Prayers

Praises

  • Improvement in my feet!
  • I’m off to a good start with the physical therapy and seem to have improved balance in just this week, probably due to the feet improving.
  • My sleep continues to be good most nights.

Prayer Requests

  • Continued sensitivity to the need for rest as needed.
  • Restored energy and healing of leg symptoms.
  • Faithfulness to do my exercises and wisdom for the physical therapist; as expected I’m his first Transverse Myelitis case.
  • Wisdom for my medical team overseeing this process.

Thank you so much for your continued prayers and outpouring of love.
