Background
See Part 1.
3/17/24 Sunday
Although my symptoms remain relatively the same, there is GOOD news! According to the recent MRI, the swelling in my spinal cord is gone. It would appear that the effects of the inflammation are just needing time to heal.
The feeling in my feet continues to be just plain weird, but it’s not impairing my ability to walk. The biggest impact on life right now is fatigue. If I walk too much or do too much exercise, I can get fatigued easily, and it comes on me suddenly; I can be “out of commission” for hours, needing to rest. I will persevere with my physical therapy, Pilates, and walking as I’m able.
Praises and Prayers
Praises
- No more spinal cord inflammation
- Fatigue only hits 1-2x/week, so I’m able to keep on keeping on for the most part.
Prayer Requests
- Continued sensitivity to the need for rest as needed.
- Restored energy and healing of leg symptoms.
- Faithfulness to do my exercises and wisdom for my therapists.
- Wisdom for my medical team overseeing this process. I meet with my neurologist on 4/9/24.
Thank you so much for your continued prayers and outpouring of love.
