3/3/24 Sunday

There’s not much to report lately. My feet still have the weird feeling, which seems like it might be improving but then again not. Frankly, the sensations come and go unpredictably. The biggest issue is fatigue as I can easily just need to have a rest. I have to be careful not to do too much physical activity as that can stress my legs. Balance also continues to be an issue. I haven’t fallen, but I can certainly be unstable.

I’m continuing with both my weekly physical therapy appointments as well as working with a Pilates specialist, who also happens to be a physical therapist. The exercise feels good. I wanted to increase my exercise this year; I just didn’t know this was the way it was going to happen.

I’ll be getting an MRI this week so we can see if there’s any actual improvement in the spinal cord inflammation.

Praises and Prayers

Praises

  • An exercise regimen that seems to be helping build strength and balance in my lower extremities.
  • My sleep continues to be good most nights.

Prayer Requests

  • Noticeable improvement on the MRI.
  • Continued sensitivity to the need for rest as needed.
  • Restored energy and healing of leg symptoms.
  • Faithfulness to do my exercises and wisdom for my therapists.
  • Wisdom for my medical team overseeing this process.

Thank you so much for your continued prayers and outpouring of love.
