1/20/24 Saturday

About the only thing to report is that my energy is up, but there’s not much change in the numbness/tingling in my feet. There are times when I think my right foot is feeling almost normal, but that doesn’t last long. I’m guarding my sleep and keeping watch of my energy levels. If I get too tired, I rest.

I have an appointment this next week to get started with a physical therapist. I’m not driving yet, so David is playing chauffeur for me anytime I need to go somewhere. I’ve been getting little walks around the neighborhood, so yes, I’m able to walk, albeit gently, and I can tire if I go too far.

Praises and Prayers

Praises

  • My energy is coming back, with a return to many of my daily tasks and routines.
  • I was able to make an appointment with a local physical therapist so I can get started on that work.
  • My sleep continues to be good most nights.
  • The antibiotics I was given have done their job and kicked the congestion and cough to the curb.

Prayer Requests

  • Continued sensitivity to the need for rest as needed.
  • Restored energy and healing of leg symptoms.
  • Wisdom for whether my physical therapist choice will be a good fit.
  • Wisdom for my medical team overseeing this process.

Thank you so much for your continued prayers and outpouring of love.
