The Basic SWR Seminar

In the SWR Basic Seminar, your Endorsed Trainer will help bring the SWR program to life for you and will guide you in starting your own Primary Master Teacher’s Log. In this interactive, hands-on seminar, you’ll get to see SWR in action and experience it for yourself from the student’s perspective. You will learn effective teaching tips, the overview of the program, and the historical and scientifically-proven background to this powerful method. The live seminars help build your confidence to teach the program to your own students. Teachers of pre-K to adult will benefit. While some background with SWR is helpful, most come to the class with no experience with the program at all. A Certificate of Completion is available upon completion of the Take Home Test.

The Basic Seminar includes

  • Using Spelling and Phonics as the foundation for teaching writing and reading
