	Primary Learning Log by BHI Students K-2 use the Primary Learning Log which has room for over 1000 spelling words. Below each set of 20 words, the student can rewrite neatly and correctly his best sentence(s) of the week. The lines are larger than in the Black Log and have a dotted half line added. Reference pages are already formatted in the back waiting for students to add example words. We suggest each teacher have a Primary Learning Log to build the Master Teacher's Log at the Beginning Level starting with Section A in the Wise List. 	Black Learning Log from BHI Students 3rd and above use the Black Learning Log to build their Spelling Notebook. This is a sewn, blank book with 50 leaves of regular, lined notebook paper. Reference pages are built in the back of the book from teacher instruction. We do not recommend using notebooks with 100 leaves as they are often bulky for writing in, often have too few lines for Reference Pages, and contain far more pages than are needed for our purposes. We suggest each teacher have a Black Learning Log to build the Master Teacher's Log at the Advanced Level starting with Section P in the Wise List.
